Process Pilot connects to the systems a business already runs and assembles contracts, proposals and invoices out of them, so nobody retypes information that exists somewhere else.

The problem is small and constant. Somebody opens the HR system, reads a salary, types it into a template. From that moment the two numbers are independent and only one is maintained. Nobody finds out until the contract and the database disagree in front of someone who matters.

So every generated item carries its source. An employment contract reads HR DB #1078. A quarterly report reads Sales DB #2366. The ID is stamped at creation and is still there after signature, so where a number came from has an answer a year later.

Generation is the easy half. The gate is the rest. Each item moves through named stages with a named reviewer, two of four steps complete, an overdue flag when it sits too long. Approve and Reject are the only ways out.

Generating a draft is cheap and reversible. Issuing a contract is neither.
